Instructions
Cut the Egg Tray
Start by cutting the egg tray into smaller sections based on its grooves. Divide these sections into sizes that will work for individual petals or flower layers.
1
Shape the Petals
Trim each section into flower-like shapes with pointed or rounded petals. Prepare at least six flower shapes to use as layers for your sunflower.
2
Prepare and Assemble the Sunflower Base
Cut a circular piece from the egg tray to serve as the sunflower's base. Glue the six flower-shaped petals around this circular base, evenly spacing them to form the sunflower.
3
Decorate the Centerpiece
Apply glue to the center of the circular base and sprinkle gold glitter over it. Let it dry completely.
4
Add the Hanging Loop
Attach a piece of yarn or string to the back of the sunflower to create a loop for hanging.
